Mumbai, Feb. 8 -- Varun Dhawan is known to be a dance enthusiast. And recently, the actor was so impressed with the remix of version of 'Jeena jeena', a popular song from his upcoming film, Badlapur, that he decided to take time out from the film's promotion schedule to shoot a special video for it.
"Varun was so happy with the song that he landed up on the sets of choreographer Ahmed Khan's upcoming production, Ek Paheli - Leela, and insisted that the number should be shot there," says a source close to the actor. Ahmed has choreographed Varun in another song in the film as well.
Apparently, the actor had only gone with the idea of meeting and discussing the song with the choreographer, but ended up shooting spontaneously. "Ahmed thought the look of the sets of his film was perfect for the song, and hence, they went ahead and filmed it," adds the source.
Ahmed's film stars Sunny Leone, and interestingly, rather than feeling upset with the delay of the shoot or leaving the sets, Sunny sat through the song's shoot. "She stayed back and enjoyed it," the source says.
When contacted, Varun says, "The moment I heard the remixed version of 'Jeena jeena', I thought a video was a must for it. So, I called up Dinesh Vijan (the producer of the film) to discuss the idea with him and he called Ahmed immediately to check if he could do an impromptu shoot. We went to the sets of his film and shot a candid video in about 70 minutes."
