Tamannaah Bhatia: I am not trying to balance both industries

New Delhi, Nov. 9 -- Actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who has been seen in films such as Himmatwala (2013) and Humshakals (2014), says that her talent has been underutilised in Bollywood.

The actor says that she wants to be a part of more meaningful scripts. "I want to take up more performance oriented roles. I feel that my talent has not been tapped properly here. I want to take up more meaty roles. I want to be selective about my films as I don't want to disappoint my audience," says Tamannaah, whose recent bilingual film Bahubali was a big hit.

However, the actor does not let a film not doing well bother her. "After these films (Himmatwala and Humshakals) only, I had Bahubali, which was such a massive success. In this industry, every Friday changes your fate. You need to be game for ups and downs in your career. You should not let all this bother you," she says.

While the actor has regional as well as Bollywood films in her kitty, she says that she does not want to let go of one industry for the other. "I am not trying to balance both the industries. I just look at it project wise. If a good film comes, no matter where it is from, I take it up. Also, I feel that the barriers between regional films and Bollywood is slowly blurring," says Tamannah.
