Taapsee Pannu's Telugu movie to be remade in Hindi!

By HT

Mumbai, Sept. 22 -- Taapsee Pannu's recent Telugu comedy-horror project, Anando Brahma, was quite successful at the box office.

Unlike most horror comedies, in which actors play characters that are scared of ghosts in the film, this movie showcased how ghosts are scared of humans and starred the actor in the role of a ghost.

Now, HT Cafe has learnt that Taapsee and the film's director, Mahi Raghav, are planning a Hindi remake of the film.

A source says, "Mahi revealed that he originally wanted to make the film in Hindi, but ended up making it in Telugu. Now, he is thrilled that his wish of the film being made in Hindi will be fulfilled."

Taapsee says, "Mahi is making the film in Hindi, and I am sure he can adapt it for the Hindi audience easily." Ask the actor if she would be co-producing the film, and she replies, "I wouldn't coproduce the film. I don't have a team or enough expertise to do so, but, surely in the future. Meanwhile, I would definitely love to share the profits of the film, as I know the audience trusts me and my choice of films."
