New Delhi, Nov. 3 -- Actor Sushant Singh Rajput is known to be a reclusive person. But now, the actor has joined Twitter in an attempt to connect with his fans.
Also, last year, fellow actor Anushka Sharma had said, "Sushant has only eight days of work (in Rajkumar Hirani's next) ... he's just a small chapter in my life." To which, Sushant had replied, "I'll have to check the schedule to know exactly how many days I'm shooting ... I come from the school of actors who believe there are no small roles, there are only small actors."
Many feel that by joining Twitter, you're coming out of your shell, shedding your 'reclusive' image.
There are a few reasons why I joined Twitter. It's important to connect with the audience directly. They invest in you - emotionally and financially - so they have a right to express their views, ask questions or give feedback. Also, at times, one's silence can be misunderstood, leading to rumours vis-a-vis relationships and projects, which can hurt you. Plus, it's interesting to involve your audience in the process of you acquiring a new skill. I am doing the same in my #TilliGetItRight videos (in which he attempts various challenges), and it's great fun.
Despite a war of words last year, Anushka was the first actor to welcome you on Twitter.
It was a really sweet gesture. Initially, we had a slight misunderstanding, but it was blown out of proportion. We had a laugh about it when we got to know each other. We have a great working rapport. She is an effortless actor.
