Mumbai, Jan. 6 -- What's common between Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput? Besides the fact that they are leading Bollywood actors, they are all also sets to team up with fresh faces in their upcoming ventures this year.

As per reports, Sushant will be seen alongside model Disha Patani in director Neeraj Pandey's biopic on Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Hrithik has already shot with Pooja Hegde for director Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro. Also, Ajay Devgn is wworking on his next directorial, Shivaay (he also stars in it) with Sayesha Saigal.

"I am extremely happy to have found Pooja. She is very natural as an actress and has an elegance and poise that will make the character attractive and endearing. Both these strengths, with a degree of freshness, add the required spark to the film's love story," says Ashutosh.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh will be seen alongside two new faces in his next two releases. While director Maneesh Sharma's Fan has model Waluscha De Sousa opposite him, he will share screen space with Pakistani actor Mahira Khan in director Rahul Dholakia's Raees. Also, Aamir will be seen with TV star Sakshi Tanwar in his next, Dangal.

Experts say that new faces are getting such big opportunities because there is a paucity of heroines in Bollywood. "The logic is simple. We have only four-five big heroines in Bollywood, and hundreds of films are released every year. Most of these girls only do one or two movies in a year. So, who will star in the other films? As a result, new faces are getting opportunities, and rightly so," says trade expert Amod Mehra.

In the coming days, Nimrat Kaur will be seen with Akshay Kumar for the first time in Airlift. Rumours are rife that Salman Khan will also have a new girl opposite him in his next biggie, Sultan. Names like Mrunal Thakur and Naaz are doing the rounds currently. "As a film-maker, what works best with non-regular casting is that the audience tends to look at the character as a character and not as a star or an actor," says Rahul.

The new girls are also on cloud nine. "I am so happy that Ajay offered me a film that he is directing and also acting in. It is a matter of pride," said Sayesha, in a recent interview. Mahira, too, tweeted after giving her first shot with SRK. "My nerves weren't being kind, but @iamsrk was.. !Got through the first scene. #Raees (sic)."
