Mumbai, March 25 -- Actor Sunny Leone's next, Ek Paheli Leela, promises to be a visual treat. Not just because Sunny is showing off some tantalising moves, but also because picturesque Rajasthan is a central part of the film.
Since some important parts of the moive are set in the heritagerich state, the film-makers decided to shoot at real locations.
"The story starts in London and moves to Rajasthan, therefore we went ahead and shot at some beautiful locations in Rajasthan. Visually, the audience will get to see some really exotic locations in the state," says director Bobby Khan.
From royal forts to majestic palaces and the surreal desert, the film takes one on a beautiful journey through the heritage sites and the old world charm that is unique to the state.
Besides shooting at the lofty Khimsar Fort and Laxmi Niwas Palace, the team also recreated a village on the desert land in just 15 days to shoot some important sequences. Many locals also became part of the shoot. Reportedly, the location was so vast that SUVs were arranged to take the artistes and crew from one point to another.
Despite the sweltering heat, Sunny's professional attitude impressed the team.
"This is the first time that Sunny was shooting in the scorching heat of 47 degrees in Rajasthan, and she did a marvellous job. The shoot went off smoothly," says Bobby.
The film also features the iconic Panchkuda Ki Chatriya - where the film Satyam Shivam Sundaram (1978) was shot.
Produced by T-Series and Paperdoll Entertainment and directed by Bobby Khan, Ek Paheli Leela is set to release on April 10, 2015.
