Mumbai, Dec. 27 -- It may be a rare win, but Sunny Leone beat Salman Khan for the title of the most searched Bollywood celebrity on popular search engine Google in the year 2013.
Apart from being the most searched film celeb across the country, adult star Sunny also came out numero uno on Delhi's search-list. Salman, meanwhile, topped the charts in Mumbai.
During the year, Sunny, 32, was hot property, sizzling in a special appearance in her song 'Laila' in the film Shootout at Wadala. Her film Jackpot also released earlier this month. Salman, on the other hand, did not have any film appearances in the year, but made a big splash as the host of popular reality television series Bigg Boss.
In just Mumbai, however, Salman was the mostsearched. Sunny, Katrina, actor and flavour of the season Deepika Padukone and Poonam Pandey rounded off the top five.
Although Aashiqui 2 was the most Googled film in both Mumbai and Delhi, the choice was different when it came to the favourite song. 'Badtameez dil' from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was the chosen number in Mumbai. While the trends were not too dissimilar nationally, the title song of Chennai Express was the most popular track across the country.
