Mumbai, April 6 -- Sunny Leone has been seen in a sensuous and modern avatar before. However, in her upcoming film, Ek Paheli Leela, her look is different.
The film's posters show her in a traditional yet sensuous avatar. While in one poster, she portrays a princess from 300 years ago, sitting on a throne, the other one shows her doing the tandav, highlighting the importance of music in the film. The two looks are the product of hours of work put in by her styling team.
"My entire team sat with the director to understand his idea and create my looks. My audience will see me in a never-seen-before avatar. I hope they like me in this look," says Sunny.
The actor had to sit with her make-up and hair team for at least six hours to get the tanned look, and the braided hair right. Additionally, her stylist embellished the choli with different stones, and used the old style of draping half saris. The jewellery - head gear, anklets, bracelets, nose ring and earrings - added depth to her look.
The throne Sunny sat on, which features prominently in the film, completed her look as the princess. "The way you see me in the images is what I actually looked like during the shoot. There are no additions or changes done to my look through Photoshop. I had to sit for hours to get the right amount of tan," she adds. Produced by T-Series and Paperdoll Entertainment, and directed by Bobby Khan, Ek Paheli Leela releases on April 10, 2015.
