Mumbai, Oct. 1 -- The Supreme Court's recent decision regarding his film school has brought much relief to film-maker Subhash Ghai. And keeping in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cleanliness initiative, he will be organising a drive, along with students of his institute, on October 2.
They will be tidying the Filmcity area in Goregaon (E). "We wanted to start our new journey on a positive note, and what can be better than spreading positivity? We will be cleaning up the entire Filmcity on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti," says Ghai.
The film-maker goes on to tell us that the students were inspired by Modi's Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. "They approached me with the idea of a cleanliness drive. They were inspired by the Prime Minister's campaign," says Ghai.
The film-maker informs us that Hrithik Roshan will also be part of the initiative. "I am extremely proud of Hrithik. When I told him that my students want him to participate in the drive, he replied saying 'it's my honour and a great thing that these students are doing. I am surely coming'. He agreed instantly," says Ghai.
