Mumbai, Feb. 3 -- Sonam Kapoor is on cloud nine post the release of her film, Dolly Ki Doli (DKD). The actor known for her sartorial preferences and girl-next-door roles seems to have found her ground in comedy as well with Khoobsurat (2014) and now DKD.
Sonam, who is thrilled with the positive response to her performance, says, "Reactions online can be positive or negative, but I am glad that with regards to DKD people have been encouraging."
Producer Arbaaz Khan can't stop praising the actor. "She was a wonderful choice for the film, and we had a great experience working together. She gave an honest performance, which everyone appreciated. Sonam is a thorough professional and down to earth; I am happy to have worked with her. DKD got critical acclaim and a good response at the box office. I'm happy that critics and audience both have enjoyed the film."
Critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh feels that Sonam has evolved as an actor. "She is now slowly coming into her own and she can pull off all kinds of characters."
Sonam, however, admits that she enjoys playing comic characters the most in films. "It is one of the toughest genres to do, but it is fun. I used to get immediate response for scenes on the sets while shooting DKD, which usually doesn't happen with other genres. I had fun doing the film and the responses are quite rewarding. Unfortunately, in the next two-three films, I am not doing comedy, but I am open to doing more comedy films. I find it most satisfying."
