Mumbai, Oct. 14 -- Sonam Kapoor has apparently wanted to visit the India-Pakistan border at Bikaner for a while now. However, it's a wish she hasn't been able to fulfil due to her busy schedule. But now that she will be shooting for her next, Khubsurat, in Bikaner, later this month, she decided to add this to her to-do list.
A source close to the actor reveals, "Sonam has written to the army authorities for permissions, since safety measures are needed for her to visit the place. If she gets the required permission, she will take off on the trip before she begins her shoot."
The source adds, "Sonam plans to leave two days before the rest of the cast and crew, to be able to see the place. She doesn't want to go once she begins shooting as it will disrupt the schedule. She begins shooting for the film from October 25, so she plans to go around October 22." Earlier, she visited the Wagah border around four years back. In the film, touted as a modern-day take on Rekha's Khubsurat (1981), Sonam will essay the role of a physiotherapist.
