New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- Ever since actor Soha Ali Khan broke the news of beau, actor Kunal Kemmu proposing to her, people have been anticipating wedding bells. We recently caught up with Soha's mother, veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, and asked her if the family is preparing for the wedding already.
Although she didn't share details, Sharmila - who was all praise for Kunal - did hint at an impending wedding. "Everyone in the family loves Kunal. We are all very happy that he and Soha have finally decided to get married," said the 68-year-old National Award-winner.
Kunal and Soha were in a committed relationship for about four years and were living-in together in Mumbai. Then in July, Kunal proposed with, as Soha had tweeted, "the most perfect ring" in Paris. "Kunal is a very nice person. He will keep my daughter immensely happy," adds Sharmila, a Padma Bhushan awardee, who has done films such as An Evening in Paris (1967), Chhoti Bahu (1971) and Mausam (1975).
So, at a time when yesteryear actors like Rekha, are coming back to the screen, we asked Sharmila if we would see her on the big screen anytime soon. "No. I don't want to... There was a time when my movies were releasing every year, but now I don't want to be under a contract. I'd like to travel and do other things I love," said the actor, who was last seen in the 2010 flick, Break Ke Baad.
