Mumbai, April 19 -- After slogging it out with back-to-back shooting schedules, Sidharth Malhotra is finally taking a 10-day break. We've been told that ever since the actor made his foray into Bollywood, he hasn't taken a holiday and, now that he has wrapped up the shoot for his upcoming release, he is finally taking some time off to unwind.
A source close to the actor reveals, "Sidharth will take a 10-day holiday and head to New York in the US. Since his debut with Student of The Year (2012), he hasn't taken any time off. He has either been training, doing workshops or shooting for films and brands. Now that he is done with his ongoing commitments, he decided to take a well-deserved vacation."
Apparently, he wanted to take this break before starting work on his next project. The source says, "He wants to relax and rejuvenate. He has taken up Vikramaditya Motwane's next, for which a lot of preparation is needed. So, he wants to come back with a fresh mind to focus better on the project."
The film is apparently about a Gujarati boy blessed with superpowers, and Sidharth wants to give it ample time to understand his character better. When contacted, Sidharth's spokesperson confirmed the news.
