Mumbai, Nov. 21 -- Looks like actors Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra have a lot to look forward to. Turns out that the two young actors, who made their debut together last year with film-maker Karan Johar's Student Of The Year, are being considered for a dance-based film.
An industry insider reveals, "Remo D'Souza's ABCD Any Body Can Dance, did well at the box office as it was the first danceoriented film to release in Bollywood. The makers have now decided to make a sequel. As the boys are both good dancers, they've been shortlisted for the role." The film will also star choreographer-director Prabhu Dheva.
The source further adds that unlike the first film, the makers didn't want a fresh face for the sequel but someone who is popular yet relatively new to the industry. "The makers will sit down and take a final call as a few details still need to be worked out. The film will go on-floors by early next year," adds the source.
Since after their debut Varun and Sidharth both seem to have plum offers. While Varun is working on his father David Dhawan's project Tu Mera Hero, Sidharth will be seen in Hasee Toh Phasee and The Villain. We tried contacting the production house, but they remained unavailable for a comment.
