New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Actor Sidharth Malhotra might be just a few films old, but the 29-year-old has some great expectations to meet. The Student of the Year (2012) actor will be essaying a pivotal role in debutant director Nitya Mehra's film, which was originally to be played by actor Aamir Khan.
While Sidharth is excited to be able to play the part, he is also nervous and hopes to excel. "Sidharth has been overheard discussing how it is a very exciting role and that there is pressure because the role was earlier going to be essayed by Aamir Khan. He has big shoes to fill in, and he is looking forward to start working on the film," says a source, close to the actor. Sidharth is excited about his films in the coming year, as he will be working in different genres. "Sidharth is eagerly waiting for 2015 as he has a very exciting year planned work-wise. He will be working in different genres. While he plays a wrestler in one, he plays a super hero in another," adds the source.
