New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Stars paying visits to holy places or temples, mosques and churches is not uncommon. Lots of them plan such trips either to pray for the success of an upcoming film, or to thank God for its success. Actor Shraddha Kapoor is doing the latter.
This year, the actor is taking a keen interest in the preparations to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at her house. Elated by the success of her last release, she is happy and thankful for the way her career is going.
"From booking the Ganesha idol at a store in Parel, Mumbai, to discussing the setup with the decorators and inviting family and friends over, she's doing all of it. She has been very hands-on with all the work," says a source close to the actor. The Kapoors celebrate the festival every year, and the entire family comes together on the occasion. "Being half-Marathi, Shraddha has grown up around these festivities," adds the source.
Ask Shraddha about this, and she says, "Ganesh Chaturthi is very special for my family. I will personally be looking into all the preparations. It has been a great year for me, and I am thankful for it all. I feel very blessed."
