New Delhi, Oct. 5 -- Actor Sumit Kaul, who is sharing screen space with Shraddha Kapoor in a recently released film, says that he helped her perfect her Kashmiri accent for it, since the film had Kashmir in the backdrop.
He adds that this made them bond with each other as well. "Shraddha Kapoor was most eager to correct her Kashmiri dialect. I helped her with that, since I'm a Kashmiri. She is extremely friendly and we bonded very well on the set. It was a really good experience working with her," says Kaul.
Not only did his fluency in Kashmiri break the ice with Shraddha, but it also helped him interact with veteran actor
Tabu, who plays a pivotal character in the film. "Initially, I hardly used to interact with Tabu ji. But one day, we spent two and half hours at my place while we worked on a Kashmiri folk song. I taught her how to pronounce the words, as I'm also a trained classical singer. Tabu ji went through the entire process not as actor, but as student. This made our relationship very smooth," he says.
