Mumbai, Nov. 5 -- As Shilpa Shetty is known for her svelte figure and affinity towards fitness, it didn't come as a surprise when the actor decided to put down her knowledge regarding the same in a book. To add a little more to the contents of the same, she has taken inputs from her mother, Sunanda Shetty, as well.
"I have taken many ideas from her that will be incorporated in the book. She used to make traditional south Indian food, but the ingredients were used in a way that they did not affect our health adversely. She made sure she prepared a healthy yet tasty meal. Her idea of having the perfect balance will definitely inspire many who will read the book," says Shilpa.
The 39-year-old hopes that her book will encourage people to tread the path of health and fitness. She says, "My mom, as an advisor in the book, will also discourage people from indulging in carbonated drinks. I hope her suggestions will prove useful."
Shilpa credits her mother for her disciplined lifestyle, saying that she wouldn't have had been so fit a if it wasn't for her. "I am thankful to her. I hope, people not only like the inputs she has given in the book, but follow them as well," she says.
