New Delhi, April 26 -- Actor Shazahn Padamsee says she considers her mother, singer Sharon Prabhakar, a great teacher when it comes to music.
"I am very fortunate to have such a great singer as my mom. She is a good teacher and I have got a lot of training from her," she says.
Ask her about the experience of performing live with her mother last year at a concert in Mumbai, and Shazahn says, "It was really amazing. It was the first time I sang on stage with my mom. We had to sing in front of 1,000 people, but when I got on stage, my confidence was quite high because of the strong bond we share."
Does she, like many other actors, plan to sing in films too? "Yes, I do want to sing in Bollywood films in the future. If the right opportunity comes, I will definitely take it up," she says.
Speaking of films, is there any flick that she watched and liked recently? "I loved PK. The fact that the movie pushed boundaries and got people talking about religion, was awe-inspiring," she says.
