New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- Actor Shahid Kapoor's next film with director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK (better known as Raj-DK), supposed to be shot in the Capital this winter, will go on the floors in January 2015.
Raj-DK wanted to shoot their film, a multi-starrer, between November and February next year. "We wanted to capture the winters in the north, since the film is set in Delhi and some other north Indian cities. But since the release of Happy Ending got pushed to November, we couldn't start the film with Shahid in time," says Raj.
Meanwhile, the makers are trying to finalise the secondary casting for the film. "They are yet to rope in six to seven actors," adds the insider. The shooting was to start by the end of this year, but the film, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kriti Sanon, has been delayed due to multiple reasons. "Initially, Raj-DK's new film (that hit theatres on November 21) was scheduled to release three or four months ago. Because it got pushed and they could not start work on Shahid's film in November, as planned," says a source.
Incidentally, Shahid is currently busy shooting in Poland for Vikas Bahl's film that also features Alia Bhatt. This project, too, has been slightly delayed.
