Mumbai, July 29 -- In Bollywood, box-office (BO) clashes are known to cause reported rifts between the conflicting films' actors. For instance, in 2012, when Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar were set to release on the same date (November 13), rumours were rife about Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn being at loggerheads.
Now, another big-ticket clash is expected to take place on October 2, as Shahid Kapoor's Haider and Hrithik Roshan's Bang Bang will both hit theatres on Gandhi Jayanti. However, unlike most cases, the impending clash hasn't been responsible for any rift between the two actors. Rather, when the teaser of Hrithik's film was released on July 23, Shahid was among the first few people to congratulate him, by tweeting, "@ihrithik blasting off in style brother ... Bang on! (sic)"
"Shahid genuinely liked the teaser, and he isn't bothered about the clash. He thinks that both the films are extremely different in terms of their treatment, feel and even budgets. So he doesn't really consider this a clash as such," says a source close to the actor. When we contacted Shahid, he simply laughed the matter off, before saying, "I don't feel the need to comment on this [matter]."
