New Delhi, March 20 -- He might be one of Bollywood's biggest stars but Shah Rukh Khan doesn't throw his weight around or so claims filmmaker Maneesh Sharma, who's currently shooting for his next with him in Croatia.
"There is actually no hoopla around him. Whatever I say might sound redundant because everyone talks about his humility. But he is actually genuinely the coolest and the humblest guy to work with," says Sharma, who was recently in Delhi to shoot portions of the film.
Sharma reveals that this film was in fact the first script that he had pitched for even before his directorial debut, Band Baaja Baaraat (2010). "Of course, now I am better equipped to handle that script but yes, working with Shah Rukh is a dream come true," says the Delhi-bred filmmaker, who calls it a joyride to direct SRK.
"I was a little aware of his working style because I was the associate director of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). He is truly the best actor to work with as a team player... the most giving actor. He is just there for you. Even on a personal level, whatever I have seen of him, there is no starry air about him. He is the biggest superstar, no doubt, but on set he is just a team player and he actually cares for the film and the scene to be shot that day. His professional approach to things is just amazing," adds Sharma.
