Mumbai, May 25 -- In an upcoming film that is being directed by Rahul Dholakia, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen playing the role of a rustic Gujarati gangster. For a song sequence in the movie, the actor has been taking garba lessons.
A professional trainer from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, was flown in to Mumbai to help Shah Rukh pick up the steps. However, as of now, the rehearsals as well as the film's shoot have been stalled, as the actor is recovering from an arthroscopic surgery he recently underwent.
Although he has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital, he has apparently been advised bed rest for three weeks by his doctors. Before the surgery, SRK had been busy rehearsing for the garba number. Despite the knee pain, he used to dedicate time to learning the traditional Gujarati dance form on a daily basis.
