Mumbai, Oct. 29 -- When you're as busy as Shah Rukh Khan, you've got to get multiple things done at the same time. The actor was recently in USA as part of a celebrity performance tour.
But we've learnt that the actor took two days out of his hectic schedule to fly down to Los Angeles (LA) for a digital 3D face-scanning session, for one of his upcoming films. The technology is used in certain CGI (computer-generated imagery) scenes in films.
A source close to Shah Rukh says, "He is all set to start shooting for the second schedule of his next. He had to get a face scanning done before that, for the special effects."
Confirming the news about the actor's visit, Kay Arutyunyan, a producer at the LA-based production house, says, "SRK travelled to LA for the scanning session. It was a pleasure for our team to work with him."
Earlier, the face-scanning technology has been used in other Indian films, such as Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Kochadaiiyaan and Dhoom: 3 (2013).
