Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has categorically denied that he met former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi in London.
Khan is a co-owner of Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders. His denial came after Modi alleged he had private meetings with Priyanka and Robert Vadra.
During an interview to NDTV, Shah Rukh Khan was asked whether he met Lalit Modi, embroiled in a row after it came to light that external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj had facilitated travel documents for him in London and that Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, had reportedly favoured Modi's immigration plea in a London court.
"No, I didn't even have a vacation in London... I was shooting in Bulgaria... I finished in the evening, took the morning... (sic) After because it was the last night... we were awake till about 6 in the morning... chatting and talking... and just about we entered the plane at about 2 o clock landed in the evening and next day I had my daughter's and son's admission. So, I hardly had time there... No I did not meet Lalit Modi... If I had, he would have told everyone," Shah Rukh said.
Modi has also been active on his Twitter page, alleging he had private meetings with Priyanka Vadra and husband Robert Vadra.
