Mumbai, April 25 -- It was revealed a while back that Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in Maneesh Sharma's next. What we now know is that the superstar will attempt some high-octane action sequences in the movie. And Maneesh is already scouting for exotic locations where he can film them. Insiders reveal that he will be visiting places like Zagreb, Hvar and Dubrovnik in Croatia besides Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and Edinburgh in Scotland.
"Since SRK will be seen doing some high-octane action sequences, he wants to make it a special treat for audiences. That's why he is keen to shoot the film at a location that is largely untapped by Bollywood films," says an insider. The project is set to go on the floors later this year.
Maneesh is apparently kicked about the venture and has already discussed the prospect of filming certain portions of the project at exotic locations with producer Aditya Chopra. "He has also done extensive research and zeroed in on a couple of places that he can scout for, to film in," adds the insider.
The Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) director, along with his team, has already left for the recce. "Now the team just needs to identify the places to shoot, while keeping the safety of the actors and crew in mind," informs the insider. While Maneesh couldn't be reached for comment, the spokesperson of the film confirmed the news.
