Mumbai, Feb. 23 -- In 2011, Sarah Jane Dias made her acting debut with a film called Game that was produced by Farhan Akhtar's company. Now, four years later, the model-turned-actor is set to reunite with the production house for an upcoming project.
This film that will be directed by Reema Kagti also stars Kangana Ranaut and Richa Chadha. Incidentally, this is the same project that Saif Ali Khan had reportedly walked out of because he was asked to take a pay cut. The male lead, as a result, is yet to be finalised.
A source reveals that Sarah was not directly signed. "She was approached last month. Then she sat through a few readings and auditions before being brought on board." Apparently, the director asked her team to approach Sarah as she felt she fits the character Reema had in mind.
Sarah confirmed the news, saying, "It's exciting as I'm getting a chance to work with Reema. I'm looking forward to the project."
