Mumbai, April 3 -- Film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who was recently felicitated with the Padma Shri by President Pranab Mukherjee, also got a chance to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the ceremony.
"It was an overwhelming moment for Sanjay," says a source close to the director. The two apparently had a long chat post the ceremony.
"While the film-maker admires Modi, and believes that he is a great leader, the latter, too, was all praise for Sanjay's work," says the source.
Modi apparently told the film-maker, who has made movies like Devdas (2002) and Black (2005), that he might be in Mumbai next month, and if time permits, he would definitely like to meet him, adds the source.
Sanjay remained unavailable for a comment, but his spokesperson confirmed the news.
