Salman's 'first class' number for common man!

When a superstar plays a common man, he's hardly expected to look like one. In Baaki Sab First Class from Jai Ho, it is the lyrics of the song that speak for the aam aadmi. Salman, the star does what is expected of him. He grooves in his trademark style, showing off his lucky bracelet.

It is not his performance that packs a punch, rather it's the lyrics (penned by Sajid, Irfan Kamal and Danish Sabri) that do the trick. It might not sound like music (Sajid-Wajid are also the music directors of the film) to the ears, but it sends across the message loud and clear. Sample this:

Kheton mein ab bhi sookha hai,
Mango man apna bhookha hai
Kahte hain India great hai
Yahan betiyaan unsafe hain

Sana Khan rightly said about the movie in one of her interviews: "There are no item songs (in the film). It has a social message about a people's man. It's not a typical Salman Khan movie. People will see a different side to him this time."

Jai Ho is the story of an upright common man who fights a solitary war against corruption and injustice. The film, a remake of Telugu film Stalin, also stars Tabu, Daisy Shah and Danny Denzongpa, among others.

The film, directed by Sohail Khan, is scheduled to release on January 24.
