Mumbai, March 19 -- The last time he had a trio of releases in one year was in 2009 with Wanted, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna and London Dreams hitting theatres.
Ever since, Salman Khan has only had a couple of releases every year - this year too, he has had brother Sohail Khan's Jai Ho, and will be seen next in Sajid Nadiadwala's Kick.
But next year, Salman will have three dates with his fans. To start with, he will reclaim the Eid weekend with Kabir Khan's yet-untitled film. Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, opposite Sonam Kapoor, will succeed that and the third one, in all likelihood, will be Anees Bazmee's No Entry Mein Entry. "Instead of July-August, we will now start the film's shooting from December onwards, but we are yet to fix a release date," says the No Entry (2005) sequel's producer, Boney Kapoor.
Trade experts, however, aren't too kicked about Salman's hat-trick. "Overexposure is never good for any actor, especially a big star. How many times can you watch the same star in a year? With three releases, he will be in the public eye throughout 2015, thanks to the extensive promotional blitzkrieg on TV and city tours, in addition to the films being screened in theatres. Due to this, a star's magic and mystery fade away," says trade expert Taran Adarsh.
