Mumbai, Dec. 3 -- It's a known fact that the success of Salman Khan's films is largely credited to his following among the masses. Playing to his advantage, the actor is set to launch the trailer of his next, Jai Ho, in the presence of 1,000 people at Chandan Cinema, Juhu.
The idea is to get a spontaneous reaction and connect with the audience directly. "Salman's films have always had mass appeal and it is therefore very important to create a connect with them. Also, his last release (Dabangg 2; 2012) was a year ago and his fans are waiting to see him in action for a long time now. Thus, Sohail (Khan; brother-director) and Salman came up with the idea of inviting the fans to the trailer launch," says a source.
The makers have deliberately chosen a singlescreen theatre for the launch. "Although, Salman's films get considerable footfalls in multiplexes, there is a massive audience for his films in single screens. The makers have already asked the cinema hall to make the necessary arrangements," adds the source.
The film's spokesperson confirms the news saying, "Yes, Salman wants his fans to be at the launch of the trailer on December 5."
