Mumbai, Nov. 28 -- Saif Ali Khan was supposed to participate in a bike rally in Delhi along with his Bullett Raja co-star Sonakshi Sinha and director Tigmanshu Dhulia. But the team faced the ire of fans and the attending media when Saif landed up for the press conference four hours late.
"Agar meri galti hoti toh main zaroor maafi maangta, magar hum traffic mein phase the (I would've apologised if it was my fault, but we were stuck in traffic)," Saif told a roomful of angry people. Tigmanshu tried to salvage the situation by saying, "Main sabki taraf se maafi maangta hu (I apologise on behalf of everyone)."
However, that did little to appease the crowd that kept shouting. An angry Saif then retorted saying, "Mujhe lagta hai maine yahan aake galti kar di. Isse achha toh main Bombay mein hi interviews karu (I think I've made a mistake by coming here. I should've just stayed in Mumbai and promoted my film)."
To that people, shouted, "Go back," "kyun aye (why did you come?)". When all efforts by the organisers to pacify the crowd failed, the actors left the venue without participating in the rally or the press conference.
