Mumbai, Oct. 16 -- Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan usually mark occasions by going on holiday by themselves. While last year, they celebrated their first anniversary in Switzerland, Saif 's daughter, Sara, joined them for his birthday (August 16) in London.
Today (October 16), as they celebrate two years of marriage, the couple has taken a short break to visit Saif 's ancestral home in Pataudi. And on the actor's invitation, the directors of his upcoming film, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, have accompanied them.
A source close to Raj and DK tells us that since the duo has worked with Saif in two films now, they have bonded well, and the latter asked them to take a break and relax in Pataudi. "They spent the last few days in the studio, completing as much postproduction work as possible before they go. They also delegated work to be done for the time that they would be away," says the source.
The directors left for Pataudi on October 15. When contacted, Raj confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, we are going there for three days."
