New Delhi, Nov. 19 -- Actor Richa Chaddha is back from Mexico, where she walked the red carpet at the recently-concluded Los Cabos International Film Festival. She was at the festival on behalf of the film, Words with God, a compilation of short stories put together by Mexican filmmaker Guillermo Arriaga.
"It was a proud moment for me to be representing India," said a happy Richa. She further added that Words with God speaks about how God has an affect on varied people.
Richa, along with actors Rajkummar Rao and Ram Kapoor, starred in one of the 15-minute short films, which has been directed by Mira Nair and written by Zoya Akthar and Reema Kagti. "I am glad I got to work with someone as talented as Mira Nair, I learnt a lot from her. Also, attending the fest was a great learning experience," she said.
And now that she is back, she has resumed the shooting of her upcoming film, which is being shot in Varanasi. Interestingly, the actor who has a Visharad in Kathak, has found time to go around learning various aspects of the dance form from the local dance groups. "I love dancing, and not many know but I am a trained Kathak danseuse. On my off days, I go around the city. On, one such day, I discovered a group which practices the traditional dance forms. So now, I practice Kathak with them. It's always fun to revive an old passion," she said.
