New Delhi, May 21 -- Actor Richa Chadha, who is at the Cannes International Film Festival, where her film Maasan was premiered for a select audience, is happy with the response.
However, the actor is getting last minute jitters before the public screening on Saturday.
"Richa is nervous as the date is closing in. The film will be screened on Saturday and while she is excited about the screening, she is also nervous and hopes that people will like it," says a source close to the 26-yearold, adding that this is the first time she is playing the lead in a film that is being screened at the film festival.
"Richa feels that the entire responsibility of the film is on her shoulders and she is anxiously waiting for a positive feedback," adds the source.
Talking about the process of making the film, Richa remembers how the entire cast and crew struggled to make sure the film turns out perfect. "This was a very important project for all of us. I remember how some people travelled by train to various locations for shoots as the budget was low. I am so happy that films like these are getting such platforms," says Richa.
