New Delhi, July 31 -- Linkups are possibly the most sensitive topic for any actor, and seldom does one open up about them. So just when you think you might have miffed Richa Chadda by popping a question in this direction, the very upfront Delhi girl gets candid.
"Linking me up with Shahid Kapoor was the most bizarre rumour that I ever heard about myself. Shahid and I haven't even had a conversation ever, so linking me up with him was absurd. We only met at an award ceremony and it's not that we were the only two people there ... there were others from the industry, too," says the 26-yearold, reports of whom being the "new girl" in Shahid's life surfaced recently, after the two were spotted together at an awards show.
Richa not only brushes aside such link-up rumours but also confesses that she isn't seeing anyone right now. "I don't know who will have the time to date me because I don't have any time for myself these days!" she says.
The actor was seen in some of the most power-packed performances over the last two years in films, including Gangs of Wasseypur - 1 and 2, and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.
While she has been missing from the big screen so far this year, she has four releases lined up in the second half. Right now, however, Richa is excited about a play for which she's teamed up with fellow actor Kalki Koechlin. "I will be in Delhi for a performance and my entire family, including my 87-year-old naani will be sitting in the audience. I'm quite thrilled about that," she says with a child-like glee.
