New Delhi, Oct. 19 -- Actor Richa Chadda, the Bholi Punjaban of Fukrey, looks forward to celebrating Diwali every year, as that gives her a chance to spend time with her family. "Yes, Diwali is when all our family members fly down and we celebrate it together. My mom dishes out delicacies and it's just fabulous." says Richa, who was born in Delhi.
However, this Diwali, she may not be able to enjoy the festivities with her family, owing to her shoot schedule. "But that's fine. This year, I will be shooting in Benaras during Diwali. So, I am looking forward to experiencing authentic celebrations, as a lot of people have told me that Diwali in Benaras is something that everyone should experience, at least once in their lives," says Richa, who will be shooting her next film in the holy city.
And if the sources are to be believed, the 25-year-old actor may even take part in the Maha Aarti that is organised at a grand level on the Dasaswamedh Ghat, which is near the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the city.
"Richa may not only attend the aarti, but may even get to do the auspicious Maha Aarti this time. And that is something that is keeping her spirits high, since she had made some plans with her family earlier," says a source close to the actor.
Richa was recently in the Capital as part of a stage play troupe, along with actors such as Kalki Kochelin, Purab Kohli, who performed the comedy play, Trivial Disasters.
