Mumbai, Dec. 23 -- There is already a lot of curiosity surrounding the upcoming romantic-thriller, Roy. But what has taken the excitement to a different level is the music of the film. The trailer of the film has already crossed 3 million views on YouTube within three days of its release, following the first song, 'Sooraj dooba hai'.
And the man behind one of the most-awaited films of the year sounds content with the response. "We have received a fabulous response on the theatrical trailer and the first song, 'Sooraj dooba hai'. It's turned into a party anthem for the season," says T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar.
And this is only going to get better with every song, assures Kumar. "The rest of the songs from the album have an individuality of their own and each song helps the story go forward," says Kumar. The next song, 'Tu hai ki nahi', is a soulful number that celebrates life, and has been sung and composed by Ankit Tiwari. The film that stars actors Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal, will see the actress scorching the screen in a peppy number, 'Chittiyan kallaiyan'.
Talking about the roles of the actors, Kumar says, "Arjun is seen in a never-seen-before role and look and Jacqueline plays a double role for the first time. Ranbir plays a dynamic title role and he is supportive to the film and Vikramjit."
A T-Series film, Roy, produced by Divya Khosla Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar is directed by Vikramjit Singh and releases on February 13, 2015.
