New Delhi, March 1 -- Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently in Delhi to shoot for his next film alongside his ex, Deepika Padukone, says that this one is very different from the earlier film that he shot in Delhi.
A major part of Ranbir's 2011 hit Rockstar was shot in Delhi at various locations including the Kotla Mubarakpur, Nizamuddin Dargah, Greater Kailash, Munirka, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Connaught Place, Shri Ram College of Commerce, St Stephen's College and the Hindu College.
"This is the second film that Imtiaz (Ali; director) and I are shooting in Delhi together, and it's very different from the first one that we did. It was more heartland Delhi where we shot Rockstar, and I think for this one, the world of Delhi that Imtiaz is trying to create is the Gurgaon world. So it's a different world for us. So, it's not that we're shooting on the same locations," says the 32-year-old Kapoor scion, who played the role of a desi boy turned rock sensation alongside actor Nargis Fakhri in Rockstar.
"Shooting in Delhi and Gurgaon has been really nice, and people have been really friendly, and everyone who's let us shoot at their offices and their restaurants and other locations were really good to us," says the actor, who shot at the Cyber Hub in Gurgaon and at a restaurant in Hauz Khas village, too, apart from other locations in the national Capital.
