New Delhi, Jan. 12 -- Actors Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will be in the Capital towards the end of January to wrap the Delhi schedule of their upcoming film.
"The shoot will start in the last week of this month. Both the actors will be in the city for it," says a source. The shoot brings real life ex-lovers Ranbir and Deepika back onscreen after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013).
Meanwhile, the film's director, Imtiaz Ali, is already here, doing his recee. The filmmaker started shooting the film in Shimla last November. "Parts of the movie were also shot in Corsica, France. At that time, Ranbir and Deepika had refused to stay in the same hotel! There were some issues between them," says the source. There were reports that Ranbir had asked his now girlfriend, actor Katrina Kaif, not to visit him on the sets to avoid awkwardness. However, Katrina may visit him in the Capital, says the source.
Imtiaz, who is a Delhi University graduate, is known for shooting his films in the Capital. His film Love Aaj Kal (2009) was shot in Delhi, while Rockstar (2011) and Highway (2014) had Delhi in the backdrop. For his next, apart from India Gate, Ring Road, Dilli Haat and Connaught Place, the director is busy exploring fresh locations as well.
