Mumbai, March 15 -- Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who is directing Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher in their debut film, recently beefed up security on his film's sets in Rajasthan.
"For one of the most important sequences in the film, there were over 45 security guards on set. This was in order to safeguard the jewellery - worth 11 crore - that was being used for the shoot. They were shooting Saiyami's wedding sequence, which is an integral part of the film," says a source close to the film-maker.
Mehra is personally looking into all the details and leaving no stone unturned for the film. The source adds, "It is a contemporary love story set in Rajasthan. They've been shooting there for a while now. On the day of that particular shoot, apart from the security guards, just a handful of team members were on the set. Only those who were crucial to the shoot were asked to stay around, as extremely expensive jewellery was being used. Having too many people around was risky."
