Mumbai, July 1 -- Over the years, Priyanka Chopra has acted in several solo projects, and she has also been part of many multi-starrers, including her most recent release.
The actor insists that all she believes in is doing a "good film". "Throughout my career, I have done a lot of three-actor films.
I care about being part of a good film, and not only about the fact that mera role bada hona chahiye (I should have a big role). You have to leave a legacy behind, and for that, you have to have a body of work that speaks for itself," says Priyanka.
The 32-year-old also highlights the fact that an actor "can only be as good as you 'give' (in front of camera)". She adds, "Acting isn't just about delivering dialogue; it's as much about reacting. Whatever I have learnt from my experiences, and on my own - since I haven't been to any film school to learn about its technical aspects - is that it is all about what you do with your silence," she says.
Priyanka, whose next film, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, will also see Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, says the focus, for an actor, should be quality. "In an ensemble film, if you know your role, you have to know what's good for the film. If the movie works, you will work. I have always believed that," she says. But are actors an insecure lot? "Well, some of them are," she says.
