Priyanka will go a long way: Pitbull

By HT

New Delhi, June 8 -- American rapper Pitbull, who collaborated with actor Priyanka Chopra on her single Exotic last year, will always remember it as an "amazing" experience.

"I have collaborated with many artists and thoroughly enjoyed working with them. It's a different experience when there is more than one artist working on a track. So, I had an amazing time working with Priyanka on Exotic. I didn't really know her very much, but we loved the song. I was very positive about the track; it had an upbeat music and the wonderful voice of Priyanka," the 33-year-old tells us, adding that he wasn't surprised when PeeCee made headlines in some international newspapers.

"It had to create waves! And to be honest, comparisons are ought to happen in the industry. I wouldn't say it's justified since each artist has his or her strong points. Priyanka is extremely talented and will definitely go a long way."

Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Christian Perez, also performed at the IPL opening ceremony last year and says he would love to come back to India. "Nothing is planned about my visit as yet. But performing at the IPL (last year) was an amazing experience. People have amazing energy in India. Sadly, I couldn't get to explore the beauty and culture of the country, but I'd definitely want to, in future," he says.

The pop star has also composed the official song for this year's football world cup - We are One - with pop star Jennifer Lopez, and shares his love for the sport. "I love the game of football! The song has a great vibe, oozing that feeling of unity and togetherness as you get swept by the spirit of the game. All the teams are quite competitive. Let's wait and watch!"

The rapper has worked with international artists such as Wyclef Jean and LMFAO in the past.
