Mumbai, Jan. 15 -- Priyanka Chopra seems to be extra careful with her first release of the year, Yash Raj Films' Gunday. An insider from the unit of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial reveals that the actor took a long time to prepare for a particular song sequence in the film.
"In the song, Priyanka had to dance using a hula hoop. Following that, there were certain steps where fire and water were used as a special effect. She had to practice a lot as the entire sequence had to be done in one take," says the source. Before facing the camera, Priyanka ensured she made a note of all the camera angles and discussed the entire sequence in detail with the crew.
"Priyanka tried understanding every aspect so that the shoot went perfectly," says the source.
When contacted Priyanka confirms the development and says, "The song in question was quite difficult to shoot as every detail had to be in place to pull it off perfectly. After much discussion and brainstorming, we finally managed to get it right in one take."
Gunday, which releases on February 14, also stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead.
