Priyanka: I didn't ask for intimate scenes to be deleted

New Delhi, Oct. 1 -- Actor Priyanka Chopra, who will be seen in a film about an item girl, who goes on to becoming a top notch politician, is amused at the rumours about her asking the film's director Madhur Bhandarkar to tone down the sexual content in the film.

Recently, various tabloids across the country reported that Chopra had even asked the Fashion filmmaker "to edit out some intense love making scenes."

Responding to the rumours, Priyanka laughs, "I think the newspapers need to work a little bit harder to know the truth. The truth is, I haven't even seen the final draft of the film. When I haven't seen the final draft, how can I tell Madhur what to edit and what not to? Seriously, sometimes I don't get, why such rumours even gather storm."

Priyanka, who will be making her debut as a producer with the film to be helmed by Madhur, also admits, she is excited to be a producer as she loves challenges. "I love taking risks. I took a risk with singing and that paid off. Producing films is also a challenge that I am in love with. Even though it gets a bit challenging at times," says Chopra, who starred in Fashion, which was also directed by Madhur.

"I am a baby producer taking baby steps. I think with time I will learn about being a producer as well, but as of now, I have to say I am really enjoying it," she said.
