Mumbai, Sept. 19 -- On Monday, September 15, Priyanka Chopra had a special aircraft flying her staff and her to Guwahati, Assam, for the promotion of her latest release. We've been informed that this arrangement was made for the actor by her film's producer, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, because Priyanka was pressed for time.
A source close to Bhansali reveals, "Priyanka had to promote her latest film in Guwahati, but she was shooting till late the previous night, and even attended an evening event on September 14. To make it easy for her, Sanjay sir booked an eight seat charter for Priyanka and her entire staff."
The source goes on to add that this arrangement was made to save time. "Most other flights connect from Kolkata, and take about five hours to reach. This charter helped Priyanka reach the city in three hours. It even made it possible for her to go and come back the same day, as she had an early morning shoot the following day," says the source, adding, "Priyanka made it there in time. She interacted with the media, did an event, and felicitated young achievers." Confirming the news, the film-maker's spokesperson says, "Bhansali is extremely happy that the film has done well, so, as a gesture, he organised a private charter for Priyanka Chopra and her team."
