@rameshfilms True. Arrogance has always been its bane. This time it will destroy them if they are not careful.

@SellingViolets Absolutely. It is their energy that keeps a society alive, alert, vibrant.

@ArmsLengthTP They are welcome to blame media. But they must also learn to respect its independence. The media is its equal, not a chamcha.

@ArmsLengthTP The UPA does not @JhaSanjay to defend it. They need to persuade independent journalists to defend it. That would be credible.

@SellingViolets The culture of Delhi has become the culture of India. That is the problem.

What UPA doesnt understand is that the media is not a PR wing of the Govt. Its an independent entity with a mind of its own. Talk to them.

@ArmsLengthTP But that is never a solution. It only discredits the media houses. @ndtv @tehelkadotcom

@SellingViolets Absolutely right. They dont like the media that does not suck up to them. That creates a natural hiatus.

The first lesson in media handling is humility. Unless you know humility, you will falter at every step.

@ShankkarAiyar They can fake one. At least it will make them look intelligent. Currently they look like a bunch of thugs, crooks, liars.

Buying media is no solution. Nor trying to browbeat it. UPA must learn how to interact with it intelligently, in a morally upright manner.

Every problem that UPA faces is somehow related to their absolute inability to get their point of view across.

    Pritish Nandy

UPA's biggest problem is they have no one who understands media, how to interact with it, how to relate to it. Not buy into it.

@rameshfilms Not really. The Illustrated Weekly was too irreverent for a publishing house aiming to be unquestionably No 1.
