Mumbai, Nov. 11 -- Popular music composer Pritam is all set to make his digital debut, with #fame Websinger, which is being hailed as India's first digital show to discover the next wave of superstar singers. The year-long digital initiative will see Pritam as the chief judge and a mentor to the participants.
The show will bring together popular names from the music industry, and is part of #fame's aim to become Asia's's premier talent-led digital entertainment network in the next three years. Catering too young mobile users, #fame's network aims to straddle over 5,000 channels and 50,000 content creators across six countries.
Websinger marks Pritam's first association with a digital music initiative. The leading music composers and singer is known for chartbusters like 'Balam pichkari' (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani; 2013) and 'Lat lag gayi' (Race 2; 2013).
Pritam says, "I believe in the power of talent, and the reach of digital platforms. Music fans are increasingly discovering great work on digital and social media first.
