Mumbai, Oct. 24 -- Film-makerchoreographer Prabhudeva, who shuttles between Chennai and Mumbai owing to his projects in Bollywood and film industries in the south, lives in a rented accommodation when he is in town.
Now, the 41-year-old wants to buy a house in the city, but the high property rates are apparently forcing him to keep his decision on hold.
"I definitely plan to buy (a flat), but they are too costly for me," says, Prabhudheva. The director, who has helmed box-office grossers like Wanted (2009), Rowdy Rathore (2012) and R... Rajkumar (2013), had initially rented out a flat in Andheri that was owned by Sridevi. But when the actor's bungalow caught fire in December last year, he decided to vacate the house. He then rented another place.
"The houses in Mumbai are over and above my budget. But buying one is definitely on my wish list," he says. After spending Diwali with his kids in Chennai, the film-maker will return to the city for the post-production work of his next with Ajay Devgn. "I have Akshay sir's (Kumar, actor) film, too, with Kriti Sanon. It starts in January next year," confirms Prabhudheva, who will also be acting in Remo D'Souza's sequel to his 2013 dance film, ABCD - Any Body Can Dance.
