Mumbai, April 26 -- His date diary is blocked with big stars' films and he's going to work with Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan soon.
Here, director choreographer Prabhudheva talks to us about his friend Sonakshi Sinha's first Tamil film, the need for a script for Salman's next and his other forthcoming ventures.
Your friend Sonakshi has signed a Tamil film with Rajinikanth. Yes. I am very happy and congratulated her instantly. It's a good decision. What an entry for her (in Tamil cinema).
Rumours are that since she was unsure about the offer, you encouraged her to take it up.
That's not true. Why would any actress not be sure of doing a film opposite Rajini sir? I am sure she will do a superb job. Forget Tamil, she can master Chinese too. She won't need my help; there are (professional) people for that.
Apparently, for your film with Salman, he wants an original script and not a remake.
We need a good story. And since Salman sir is a big star, he is very busy. I am yet to meet him formally for the project. The last time I met him was two-three months back. I never approached him with any remake ideas. An actor must be satisfied with the script before agreeing to do it.
Have you made Ajay dance in your next?
Yes, Ajay sir will be seen dancing, fighting and romancing. We will have very stylish moves for him. We are all aware of his dancing skills, but I can assure you that he will look like a confident dancer. The film is 80-85 per cent complete.
Is your next with Akshay also going to be a typical Prabhudheva film?
I don't know what the 'Prabhudheva' style is, but I can assure you it's going to be a powerful story with a lot of entertainment value. There will be a lot of emotion, drama and comedy. I am waiting for the film to start so that I can work with Akshay sir. We also want a good dancer as our leading lady.
